Calgary Search and Rescue Association provides safety and survival presentations called "Lost in the Woods"and Hug a Tree to schools, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides and youth groups.

The program focuses on teaching parents, children and teachers to be properly prepared before going into the woods and what to do if they become lost. Practical rules for survival are discussed by our instructors in a fun and interactive format.

Child survival needs adult assistance. You can help children learn what to do if they get lost in the woods by discussing and practicing the "Rules of Survival". If you are interested in having our instructors present a Lost in the Woods presentation to your group, contact (403) 717-6208 for more information or email us at litw@calsara.com.
