SAR Operations with Authorities
Liaise with other organizations to ensure effective ground search and rescue operations.
- Calgary Police Service (Major Crimes, Search Management & HAWCS units)

- STARS Air Ambulance
- EMS
- Calgary Emergency Management Agency

Education & Public Outreach
Educate the public about the prevention of incidents requiring ground search and rescue.

Our Community Commitment
CALSARA is committed to working with authorities, police and fire Services to fulfill its mission to the community.
CALSARA volunteers are dedicated to community service. Our volunteers provide this service to strengthen and give back to our communities. Aside from search activities, we provide:
- Preventative-SAR instruction to school, youth and workplace groups.
- Lost Child & Civil Response services at community events such as Canada Day and the Calgary Stampede Parade.
